It would be a good start to a battle theme, where the action is just starting to get intense, but the whole time I was listening to the song, I was waiting for the percussion to suddenly get more intense. If you made this longer, and added a part like that, making the main instrument sound slightly more intense as well, I'd 10 star it, maybe favorite and download. I feel a little in between Sabtastic's and Chronomut's posts, though I do agree with you that it could totally work for an 8-bit game.

I wish Insomniac still had Spyro. The best Spyro games came from his creators. This is pretty awesome. Thanks for making this. You know what would be more awesome? A remix of Midnight Mountain from Spyro Year of the Dragon. Don't know why, but that is the one Spyro song that continually gets stuck in my head, and it's one of my favorites.

First thing I thought of, actually. Only remotely good thing that came from that game was the tails doll though, which wasn't exactly good. This song is still pretty good though.

The guitar needs work. Not sure what it is exactly, just a bit nasty, like they said. The guitar has promise though, just rework it. This is still a really good remix of one of my favorite battle themes from one of the best RPG's of all time, so I give a nine. Once you let it play through once, the second time through it seems to almost loop. Or at least it's working that way for me. It sounds good.

Funny, Symphonia is my favorite game ever (or at least from Gamecube), yet I almost forgot this song was in it. It was one of my favorites in Phantasia though. Don't know why there aren't more remixes of this song. This is by far the best one on Newgrounds. Great job with this.
